#31 - Lily of the Valley

In honor of my soon-to-be-born niece, Baby Vada, I drew the flower for the month of May.  It's also the first time I drew more than one flower...

#4 - Crocus Wildflower

#3 - Rose Bud

#2 - Peace Lily

(originally created on 4/3/2011)

#1 - Saguaro Blossom

Here is my first drawing in my attempt to create one drawing a day for the next 365 days.  Since I didn't start this blog on the exact day of my drawings, the first few will show up under todays date.  I welcome any constructive criticism.  I have not put pencil to paper in SUCH a long time so I know I will not start off strong, but I hope to get better and better as the days go by.  I will also be adding color pencils, but probably not for a while, maybe until I feel more confident with just a black pencil for now...
